The staff is okay and the kitchen is really good. But a bit expensive, the Harlachinger Einkehr belongs to the upper price range. The duck had been lying in the oven for a while to keep it warm, you could tell. But unfortunately this is the case everywhere. Unfortunately, it is hardly possible to freshen up because no guest wants to wait over an hour for his meal. Still, it was always very good, I've been to this restaurant three or four times so far and I will definitely go back again.
It's not for nothing that there are so many bad comments here - after almost 3 years abroad - it was my first visit and the first Bavarian meal again! Service disaster, talks to you whether you have been work colleagues for 20 years, the landlady is sitting in the middle of the restaurant reading the newspaper and looks at everyone puzzled ... The food was too salty, portions were small and the beer is most likely stretched with water - no taste! ! Left 90% of the items - the waiter asks, didn't it taste good? We said everything openly and honestly - the answer came: ah ok !! Never again....
Pleasant atmosphere. Nice personel. The apple strudel with cream and vanilla ice cream is super delicious.
Good cuisine, cozy Bavarian, very friendly staff, nice beer garden.
Child-friendly, fair prices, good quality food, everything was very satisfactory. Always gladly again, in summer also gladly in the beer garden.
Long wait, bad service.
We left after 40 minutes because three waiters completely ignored us, even though we approached them in a friendly manner and pointed out to us and they saw us too. No matter how much you have to do, that was simply a joke! Will never go back here.
Nice beer garden. The food was delicious and there was plenty of space
A nice beer garden with relatively brisk service, however, the prices are a bit high.
Today we were here for the "heavenly boiled fillet". And that hit it exactly It was a three course meal from the pot Marrow bones on toasted bread Liver spaetzle soup And the meat (very soft) with potatoes and vegetables. With different sauces We were very excited ? The waiter is "rustic" nice. ? Klausi and Joseph - they rock the beer garden. We would love to come back. Hermann & Claudia
The food and the wonderful space under the trees were really excellent ... BUT if you get 3 large pieces of "Wiener Schnitzel", an amount that you sensibly not eat because it is simply too much and not even a salad or vegetables are included, instead an equally indomitable amount of french fries and then approx Paid 24 euros, one wonders why not, for example can get a normal portion for 16 euros. We don't even want to talk about the drink prices ... I felt "ripped off" yesterday. What a shame!!
Very unfriendly boy at the tap, the hygiene is obviously a foreign word. If you don't feel like having guests, you should better be assigned to wash dishes. Spare ribs were only half cooked.
competent service and delicious food. I also really liked the ambience outside.
Cozy, authentic restaurant with a large, beautiful beer garden. Home-style but excellently prepared dishes. Service is a bit rusty and sullen in Bavarian style. Good PLV.
Where the best Munich beer meets one of the most popular Viennese specialties: Tafelspitz! Classically served in three courses in a copper potty at a really good price! (Unfortunately I can't say anything about the rest of the card because I always ... see above.)
Try everything, drink plenty of beer, meet other people. A Munich original minus the hordes of tourists.
The Harlachinger Einkehr is a nice beer garden. The food was good, the service was nice too, but the prices are unfortunately completely overpriced and disproportionate. 4.80 for 0.5l Helles is just too much, and 19.60! for a salad with goat feta is a cheek. Unfortunately, I don't want to take part in such prices and therefore I won't come back.
Attentive and equally friendly service, as a guest you are welcome here with natural warmth. Good, honest Bavarian menu. The hygiene measures are implemented perfectly. A compliment for that too. Stay was very pleasant
Nice beer garden. There is a very good playground for the little one. Very well organized in Corona period.
Nice beer garden. We ate whole here with a very tasty red cabbage and dumplings. The portion was huge and reasonable for the price. The waitress was nice and we had a great time there.
A very typical location where you get a nice example of Bavarian kitchen and hospitality.
Authentic Bavarian place with good food and Augustiner beer.
The Harlachinger Einkehr is a cozy restaurant above the zoo. The price performance ratio is very good. The food is delicious and the service is also very friendly. :)
Nice place, food okay, service a total disaster! Waiter was unfriendly and food came cold.
Really good place! Cozy, private atmosphere, fresh Augustiner with absolutely unbeatable price during the happy hour, delicious food (spare ribs are extremely good), very nice playground for kids (huge trampoline included)… Highly recommended!
Nice restaurant, good food, big portions. The service staff was mostly friendly, sometimes too snippy, but, although the place was not even half full, made a total overwhelming impression. The welcome was a bit unfortunate because when we showed the waiter the Groupon coupon, he exclaimed a few times aloud: omei omei, with Groupon, that's not good. It went on like that for a while. We almost felt like second-rate guests. We were also told a few times by our waiter (Claus) that it is not good to order the multi-course Tafelspitz on Sunday, because too much work and effort are required for him. Why do you offer this dish on Sunday? Later he was friendlier. There were three of us for dinner, had the Tafelspitz in three courses and once the Viennese Backhendl. The Hendl was very tender, the skin nice and crispy. Potatoes good, the salad unfortunately too small and boring. The boiled beef had been served in the copper pot in a good bouillon with marrow bones and vegetables. Later potatoes and spinach were added. Unfortunately, the Tafelspitz in the third course after the bread with the marrow and the soup was only lukewarm. The dessert, which consisted of a very small piece of apple strudel, cream and vanilla ice cream, was unfortunately not the crowning glory. The apple strudel was too firm and the lid too dark. The waiter was always overzealous in the plate clear, the one cleared the plate away, while the others have eaten. It went on throughout the meal, which was a bit stressful. One had the feeling that one should be handled quickly. During the desserts, he then took the bill to collect because his shift was over. But the food was absolutely worth the money, very good and the portions very rich. The service was unfortunately too much and this permanent unrest he transferred to us. Conclusion: The restaurant is nice, traditional, the food was very good and rich, the service mediocre. The restaurant is by far not as elegant as it should appear on the homepage.
War prima.
Great place with tasty food!
Usual biergarten in the neighbourhood, by the way they serve Augustiner.
Have been coming back to this cozy restaurant with large beer garden for the last 40 years. Excellent food, fair prices, lots of shade from old trees, two trampolines for the kids ... and they accept credit cards :)
Great kitchen and location, reasonable prices. One of my favorite beer gardens.
Nice place close to the motorway going through Munich, so a convenient place to stop for Bavarian food when going through Munchen. Good food, decent service. I just wish they would take care of their wasp problem in the outdoor beer garden.
Biergarten at its best!
Meals are huge! Make sure you order maximum a 2/3 ratio (dishes/persons). Mass (1 liter beer) can be found at 6,60€ on special events (e.g., world cup). Food is just OK
Traditional beer garden with usual food and drink done to a good standard and reasonable prices large portions! Try spare ribs!
Lovely Beegarden
Beautiful spot with delicious Steckerl fisch
We are regular here, food is homely and portion size is bigger than you can eat. Staff at times may come across as unfriendly, but once you know them they are really very helpful. If you are looking for real Bavarian hearty meal... this is your place.
really nice!!!
Very bavarian staff, great kitchen, Augustiner beer and also a very nice playground with two trampolines.
Nice Biergarten, not too crowded
Superessen Superservice Superhundefreundlich
The food was good but the service was outstanding. Our server helped us choose what to order since we had never visited Germany before. After the meal he brought us a dessert sampler plate on the house, which was an extremely pleasant surprise!
Good beer
